A seed of a plant
starts small and
unassuming, but one
day could end up being
an enormous native tree!

Who we are

We are a not-for-profit community mental health support service that provides peer support, advocacy and education to people who live or work in the Hutt Valley, and who self identify as having experience of mental distress and/or illness.

We also offer transitional housing for single females and single males.  Both cater to those who either have no mental illness or low to medium levels of mental illness.

 What we do

“A space for wellbeing and recovery”

We support YOU to achieve your goals and access what you need in life to be well, happy and healthy.

Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and can help you understand your rights, support you to achieve your goals and provide a safe, recovery-focussed space for you to learn and up-skill yourself.

It’s up to you how you want to engage with us. You may need a one-off referral to another support service, or maybe you need an advocate to support you at Work and Income. One-off or short term support is something we provide, but if you need long-term recovery support we can also help!

At Oasis Network Inc. we have opportunities for you to attend groups, participate in goal planning and achievement, access our food bank, provide you with volunteer opportunities and we have a strong network of members who regularly support and nurture each other, including running a members’ meeting once a month.
